Hello!
I’m Jackie, the creator and artist
of Evergreen Botanical Studio.
Evergreen grew from the soil of my own life and love story, blossoming into a joyful endeavor to help people re-live their most cherished moments through the art of floral preservation.
My love of nature and art has been woven into my life since the day I was born. Exploring the Adirondacks with my dad and grandpa — absorbing their lessons on plants, animals, and ecosystems — and tending gardens with my mom and grandmother taught me the art of nurturing and the magic of the natural world. Those early experiences formed the roots of my nature inspired artistic journey .
Motivated by a desire to preserve the beauty I saw around me, I began replicating it through drawing, watercolor, and acrylic painting at a young age. Creating artwork for the people I loved brought me immense joy and became the foundation for how I express care and connection.
That passion carried me through my time at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and into my 15-year career as a fashion designer — an experience that also provided the foundation and insight necessary for running a business of my own with customer service at the forefront.
In 2021, I began exploring flower preservation as a personal hobby, using blooms from gifted bouquets and my own garden. I started with traditional pressing, but quickly realized I missed the vibrant color, depth, and dimensionality of the flowers in their natural form.
That curiosity led me to experiment with 3D preservation and ultimately develop a unique blended technique that honors both tradition and modern artistry. It has truly been a labor of love, and I’m incredibly excited to share it with others.
My husband, Ethan, volunteered to become the studio’s frame maker — turning our dream of a marriage infused with shared creative work into a reality. We discovered a gap in the market for shadow box frames deep enough to accommodate full-sized blooms, so he began designing custom frames with the perfect depth to protect each flower’s natural shape. In every sense, your artwork is crafted with love — quite literally.
Word of my work spread quickly among friends and family, and their encouragement — along with Ethan’s unwavering support — inspired me to turn this passion into a small family-run business. The outpouring of love and support was unexpected and deeply moving.
Realizing that I could create art from one of nature’s most meaningful symbols became the catalyst for this new chapter. I began preserving bridal bouquets, birthday flowers, memorial blooms, and so much more — and it has only grown from there.
The union of my love for nature, art, and meaningful storytelling was the missing piece of the puzzle. I am profoundly grateful to do this work.
People and their stories hold a sacred place in my heart. Turning flowers from life’s most significant moments into lasting keepsakes is an honor. Whether it’s capturing a couple’s love story, celebrating a milestone, or honoring a cherished person or beloved pet, preserving these memories in a tangible piece of art is deeply fulfilling.
I’m so excited to create with you — and to hold your story in both my mind and my heart.
ETHAN - FRAME ARCHITECT
Your frame craftsman, co-creator in our business of making art from love stories and the love of my life.
The care and attention he spends on each and every frame is a wonderful added bonus to booking with us. He knows your name and story as much as I do.
We do not work with mass market frames as there are many flaws that come with buying cheap frames in bulk and none that are the correct depth to accommodate all flowers in their form. Many are too shallow the crush the flowers and some are too deep that the frame becomes too bulky. Ethan constructs your frames to just the right depth, to accommodate your unique flowers size. Its important to us that we maintain the shape and bloom form from your special day.
Everything about your piece is hand created by us, from scratch. Made to order, to allow for those last minute size and color changes, because we want to make sure you have a piece that you absolutely love.
Evergreen was built from our own life and love story. Combining each of our separate talents and passions into a lifestyle that allows us to bring joy to others through the art of 3D flower preservation and woodworking.

Fox 🦊- Studio Assistant #3.
The newest addition to the evergreen pack (May 2025). He is currently learning how to be a good boy studio assistant in between zoomies and naps. He love shoe laces and Ethan’s beard. We are so excited to watch him grow.

Our live doorbell that lets us know when someone arrives for a drop off or pick up. Jackie’s consistent morning coffee and admin buddy. Introvert at heart and likes spending her alone time in her teepee. Come with any type of food and she will be your bestie.

She is our resident flower inspector. She loves when we bring in a fresh bouquet and rushes up to give them a good sniff. The extrovert of the family and would prefer a toy above all things: We love her wilds spirit.
